Southern New Hampshire University Internship Opportunities

Interns are available at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.  Students receive credit for internships as follows: 3 credits – 10 hours per week, 6 credits – 20 hours per week, 12 credits – 38 to 40 hours per week.  12 credit internships are more typical during the summer months.

Undergraduate / Co-op Education Program

Businesses seeking undergraduate interns must submit the following to the Incubator office:
  • A detailed paragraph on the job description, including your company name, address & contact information
  • The number of hours the intern is to work each week
  • The pay rate (intern may be paid or unpaid)*

* If the intern is to be paid, you can either establish your own rate of pay, or contact SNHU’s Career Development department which is available to help you set a rate of pay based on your job description.

The undergraduate program has three semesters listed as follows:

Students seek internships in the following majors:

Business, Marketing, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Retailing

 

Graduate School

Businesses seeking graduate interns must submit the following to the Incubator office:

  • A detailed paragraph on the job description, including your company name, address & contact information
  • The number of hours the intern is to work each week
  • The pay rate (intern may be paid or unpaid)*

The graduate program has 4 semesters listed as follows:

Master of Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting & International Business

 

*** In order to post any internship requests the following additional information is required:

  • Degree desired
  • Major / Concentration desired
  • Minimum GPA requirments 
  • Student Status (i.e. 1st year sophomore, Junior, etc..)

If this information is not made available to the Incubator office, the staff will decide based on the job description and requirements provided.
